FormatSwitch.in is a free, browser-only file conversion toolbox designed, built, and maintained by Muktikanta Ojha. You are welcome to use it for personal or commercial file conversion. You are not welcome to copy the site itself.

Use of the tools

The tools on this site run entirely inside your browser. There is no upload, no signup, and no watermark. Files you convert are yours — FormatSwitch never receives them and claims no rights over them.

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Because conversions happen on your device, results depend on your browser, available memory, and the file itself. Always keep an original copy of anything important.

Copyright

The source code, the compiled JavaScript bundle downloaded by your browser, all long-form written content, FAQ answers, page copy, layout, illustrations, and design system are © 2026 Muktikanta Ojha. All rights reserved.

Third-party open-source libraries used inside the app retain their own licenses and copyrights.

What is not permitted

  • Downloading the compiled bundle and re-hosting it on another domain.
  • Rebranding the site under a different name while keeping the code, layout, or content.
  • Copying the long-form tool descriptions, FAQ answers, or other written content, in whole or in substantial part.
  • Using the "FormatSwitch" name, wordmark, or visual identity for another product.
  • Framing, mirroring, or proxying the site under a different domain.

The fact that your browser must download the JavaScript to run the app locally does not, by itself, grant any license to redistribute it.

Trademark

FormatSwitch™ and the FormatSwitch wordmark are unregistered trademarks of Muktikanta Ojha. Please do not use them for products, services, or domains that could be confused with this site.

Reporting a copy or abuse

If you find a website that has copied FormatSwitch's code, branding, or long-form content, or if you'd like to request permission for a specific reuse, please get in touch via the feedback page. Legitimate DMCA / takedown notices will be forwarded to the offending site's host and search engines.

These terms may be updated over time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
